So, people perceive women as more hostile when they work hard to achieve a good job. Does this mean that women are actually more hostile? More likely, this just means that women are viewed a certain way due to their motivation to achieve. When women get a job due to luck, they are viewed as less hostile, even though their behavior is not different. More than anything else, this perception of women is likely a factor for why women may feel too much workplace stress, loneliness, and have less support from those around her.
