Did you know people that are more mindful have better arguments with their partners? They tend to be more satisfied with their romantic relationships and sexually as well. According to research, this is because mindful people are more likely to engage in positive problem solving techniques, like remaining calm, speaking respectfully, and compromise.
Mindful people are also less likely to engage in withdrawal during the argument. That means they are willing to talk through the issue rather than shutting out their partner. They are also less likely to unnecessarily comply. This means they are willing to both listen and to also say their own perspectives and thoughts.
